for details. Avis Terms and Conditions The renter must be in possession of a valid drivers licence – minimum rental age is 23 years. The rates are based on the 24 hour clock and are calculated from the time of collection. Fuel is not included in the rates – cars are delivered full and the customer is charged for refill on termination. Oil, maintenance, maps on request and replacement vehicle on breakdown are included. Cross border rentals are not permitted.Extended rentals: Contracts will be recalled at the end of each 30 day period for settlement and renewal. The renter will be deemed in default if the contract is not renewed. The period outside the contract date is without insurance cover and in the event of an accident or theft, payment will be sought from the renter. The use of unsurfaced roads will be at the renter’s risk and the renter will be charged for all damages, repairs and towing resulting from this. One way rentals – your vehicle may be hired at any of our locations and left at another at the end of the rental. A one way fee will be charged. Avis vehicles may not terminate outside of Zimbabwe. Other All drivers must be listed on the applicable rental agreement. If an unlisted driver is involved in an accident, or theft of the vehicle, the renter will be liable for the full damages / loss to Avis.
